Alpaca Duvets
Ellis Fibre is a New Zealand company based in Dunedin. Their duvets are made in New Zealand from 100% New Zealand alpaca fibre. The duvet inner is sustainable, hypoallergenic and odour and mildew resistant. The warmth rating for all of the duvets is 400gsm. Due to the natural attributes of alpaca fibre, it is also lighter, stronger and warmer than wool. The natural high moisture wicking property of alpaca fibre means moisture is drawn away from the body and slowly released into the air. It has one of the highest wicking properties of all natural fibres, and when combined with its lack of lanolin it makes the fibres odourless and naturally hypoallergenic. For extra durability the duvets are made using 100% sateen cotton cover with 400 thread count.
